My tip for you guys? Find a school family. They will serve you well. I don’t know where I would be nowadays having not spent my first year with my little “family” having dinner at 6 every night and mulling over our days. They will help curb some of that anxiety and stress. Trust me.

If you are going to stand on the edge of a curb at any time on campus when it rains, I would suggest being poised on your surfboard. You may think you can handle the up-splash, but you are likely mistaken.

You won’t find many Seattle locals with umbrellas, either. Raingear is in there and in most other places that experience lots of wet weather. — vkf/

Yes, finding one’s own way is probably one of the most difficult things for students directly out of high school to accomplish as college students. Look’s like a good start to a blog I’ll look forward to reading for the rest of the semester and perhaps beyond, if you decide to keep it going. — vkf/
